Spindle Stands
Similar to lathes, the spindle stand polishing and grinding machines offered by Finishing Rx are compact, medium-duty machines crafted for precision work on metals and other substrates. These machines spin sanding wheels, sanding drums, or polishing wheels at high speeds while making contact with the part, enabling them to achieve a high luster polish or aid in sanding and metal removal using selected abrasives suited to the material and desired finish. Available in two different single speed options, these spindle stands also provide customization possibilities through additional equipment such as belt attachments, long or short spindles, and guards, allowing you to customize the unit to meet your specific requirements.
PW Models are a wider model and PN are a more narrow model.
STANDARD FEATURES:
– 2,3, or 5 H.P. TEFC Ball Bearing motors
– Vee belt drive • 1200 or 1800 RPM (Standard)
– Exceptional front clearance due to unique base design
– Magnetic push button starter
– Long spindle available for use with Wolf-Head sanding wheels, pneumatic drums or other sanding/polishing wheels
– Short spindle for BA belt attachment or other applications
– Spindle lock for easy wheel change
– PN Model requires a minimal amount of space due to its narrow tube stand
