Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, the SCC 3000 ensures the reliability of its components and features a space-efficient design, measuring 50” wide x 34” deep x 73” high. It incorporates 2” thick urethane foam insulation and a cryogenic door gasket for efficient cooling using a liquid nitrogen refrigerant system that can reach temperatures as low as -205°F (-130°C).
Mechanically, the SCC 3000 includes a 3 cu. ft parts basket, a 9” diameter throwing wheel with a maximum speed of 8000 rpm, and a 24” SWECO separator for effective media separation. It also offers convenient features like a single auger for media feed, pneumatic door open/close system, airlock door seal, external gearbox for enhanced performance, and a removable vent cartridge for easy maintenance.
Electrically, the SCC 3000 is equipped with a 12” color touch panel for intuitive operation, supporting up to 1,000 parts programs for flexibility. It provides automatic and manual modes for customized operation, a reliable Siemens PLC controller, Siemens AC motor drives for efficient power management, and energy-efficient, inverter-duty motors for sustainability. Additionally, the machine includes a free-standing enclosure for a compact footprint and a security lockout feature for enhanced safety and security.
