Standard Features:
– Two external swing doors provided.
– One external man door featuring a heavy-duty door latch kit with striker and safety viewing window on each side of the blast room.
– Safety interlocks installed on all doors to deactivate the blast when opened.
– LED tube lighting assemblies in blast-resistant frames with polycarbonate protective covers.
– Panels made of 10-gauge steel, powder-coated white inside and out.
– Includes intake/exhaust plenums.
– Hose manifold for blast hose, remote line, breathing line, and blow-off air hose.
– Steel floor featuring custom fitted checker plate or flat steel floor and welded steel construction anchored to the floor to prevent plate curling from blast operations.
– External electric control panel with 12-volt controls for the Blast System.
– Abrasive Blast Pot – Model: MBM-6.5SRE, equipped with a custom spider/lid assembly.

Media Recovery Options

Each system comes in different size variations to well accommodate any type of recovery, from single portion sweep to full floor recovery.

Pneumatic Recovery Components

– Sweep-in Channel with media transition elbow and screen (located above floor, below floor, or recessed in rear wall)

– Media reclaimer with adjustable tuner, wear plate, and screen

– “Free-standing” media storage hopper with butterfly valve, sight glass, and maintenance platform

– 6.5 Cu.ft blast machine with closed lid/spider assembly, high flow regulator, and safety remotes tied to safety doors

– Pre-wired and safety door interlocked NEMA 4 electrical control panel

Mechanical Recovery

  • Used for Quicker Media Recovery
  • Suitable for all reusable medias, including steel grit and shot

Mechanical Recovery Components:

– Cross screw assembly with adjustable deflector plate and screen (located above floor, below floor, or recessed in rear wall)

– Bucket elevator assembly with steel buckets, 1/2″ thick heavy-duty construction

– Gravity-type air wash separator with perforated plate rotary drum assembly

– “Free-standing” abrasive hopper with required support steel and slide gate

– 6.5 Cu.ft blast machine with closed lid/spider assembly, high flow regulator, and safety remotes tied to safety doors

– Pre-wired and safety door interlocked NEMA 4 electrical control panel
