Unlike traditional drag finishers, all of Bel Air’s Drag Finishers utilize an innovative approach by elevating the media chamber up to the parts, rather than lowering the head mechanism into the chamber. This streamlined design eliminates the need for complex components such as shafts, linear bearings, ball screws, and motors, which are prone to dust-related issues and frequent maintenance in other systems. Our media lift system significantly reduces maintenance demands, ensuring smoother operation.

For those seeking enhanced processing capacity, the FMDF 2000T cutting tooling model stands out as the top performer in its class. This adaptable machine, available with 4 heads, can handle up to 40 tools simultaneously. With optional 4-position tool holders, it can process up to 36 tools with diameters of up to 2 inches, or even larger with custom tooling solutions.

When you opt for the tool package, you receive four 10-position third-axis tool holders compatible with our standard collets, accommodating tools up to 1-1/8 inches in diameter. Larger collets are also available. In total, the machine can process up to 30 tools using our standard line tool holders, making it a versatile and powerful addition to your finishing equipment.
