Corncob and Walnut Media
Corn cob media, derived from the dense core of corncobs and milled into varied grits, is an eco-friendly and biodegradable abrasive used for blast cleaning and vibratory finishing. It is commonly treated with agents for specialty polishing and deburring applications, making granulated corn cob versatile: it can be used for light deburring, polishing metal and plastic surfaces, cleaning. One of the most common uses is as a drying agent after vibratory deburring. It will remove residual water, oils, and media residues. Non-toxic and biodegradable, corn cob media is an environmentally friendly choice.
