Magnetic Media Seperators

Magnetic media parts separators for vibratory finishing are specialized equipment utilized in the mass finishing industry to effectively segregate magnetic parts from non-magnetic media post-finishing.

In one configuration, the parts and media amalgamation are introduced to a vibrating hopper, directing the mass towards a belt featuring a potent magnetic drum underneath. This magnetic field attracts and captures the magnetic metallic parts onto the belt while enabling the non-magnetic media to descend into a designated collection receptacle. Additionally, these separators incorporate a degaussing unit to eliminate any residual magnetic field from the parts upon exiting the unit.

Alternatively, we also offer drum head style units where the magnetic drum head is lowered into the mass. Here, the media and parts remain within the vibratory finishing system, and the magnetic head draws the parts through its magnetic field, enabling them to be lifted out of the mass onto a feed belt, effectively removing them from the finishing system. These units also feature degaussing capabilities to neutralize any remaining magnetism. Both configurations are highly efficient in reducing manual labor.
