Model SCC 750 – Compact

Cryogenic Rubber Deflashing Machines have revolutionized the manufacturing of molded rubber components by making excess material (flash) brittle for easy removal through mechanical methods. Traditional techniques like manual trimming and tumbling were labor-intensive and inconsistent, often damaging parts. The introduction of cryogenic technology, which utilizes liquid nitrogen to cool materials to extremely low temperatures, has provided a groundbreaking solution initially embraced by the aerospace and automotive industries and is now spreading to various sectors. Cryogenic Systems and Parts, based in Anaheim, CA, is represented by Finishing Rx, LLC due to their being at the forefront of this innovation, producing high-quality cryogenic deflashing systems that have set new standards in precision and efficiency.

The Model SCC 750 cryogenic shot-blast deflasher, manufactured by Cryogenic Systems and Parts, is the most compact basket-style deflasher they offer. This premium machine has a basket capacity of 0.75 cubic feet, making it ideal for small batch runs.

Cryogenic Systems and Parts are renowned for their efficient, long-lasting, and economical cryogenic deflashing machines. Their machines feature advanced designs including:

– No internal gearboxes

– An on-board drying system

– Premium low-temperature hoses

Constructed with 304 stainless steel for the cabinet, shafts, transfer auger, and separator, the SCC 750 uses liquid nitrogen refrigerant to reach temperatures as low as -205°F (-130°C). It employs a single vertical auger for media transfer and operates with a 5HP, 7.5” diameter throwing wheel at a maximum of 8000 RPM. An 18” SWECO separator is also included.

The machine is controlled via a 12” color touch panel with Siemens S1200, supporting up to 1,000 parts programs. It offers both automatic and manual modes and features Siemens AC motor drives, fuseless and resettable motor protection, and variable speed controls. The cabinet’s dimensions are a compact 37” wide, 56” high, and 25” deep.
